It Starts With You... When You're Good You Can Make Sure Everyone Else Is Good

Being a fiancee, mom and Physician, I am pulled in every direction but towards myself. It's very easy for me to end my day or week with nothing left for me.

I have become intentional about making time for me with my self-care days and I want to encourage you all to do the same.

Self-care is an essential aspect of maintaining good health and well-being, and this is particularly true for women. Women tend to be very busy, often juggling multiple roles and responsibilities, which can leave little time for self-care. However, taking care of oneself is crucial for maintaining physical and mental health.

Self-care for me takes many forms, including exercise, healthy eating, getting enough sleep, and engaging in activities that bring joy and relaxation. Self-care for me also includes setting boundaries, saying no to things that don't serve them, and seeking support when needed.

When I prioritize self-care, I feel happier, more energized, and better able to tackle the challenges that come my way. Additionally, taking care of myself helps prevent burnout and reduces stress levels, which have a positive impact on my overall health.

Please, make sure that you prioritize you. It's ok to say no and it's ok to put you first. Never feel guilty for choosing you!
