Mom Life
Mom Life
Being a career-driven mom is a balancing act that requires careful consideration and planning. On one hand, you want to excel in your career and achieve your professional goals. On the other hand, you want to be a present and attentive parent to your children. It can be challenging to find the right balance between these two important aspects of your life.
Mom guilt is a real thing and it is a common feeling experienced by many mothers. The feeling of inadequacy or self-doubt that arises when you as a mother feel like your are not doing enough for your children, or when you feel like you are not doing things the "right" way.
I have battled with these feelings from day 1 of becoming a mom. I understand that it can be challenging to find the right balance between these two important aspects of your life, but with some effort, it is possible.
One way to manage the balance is to establish a schedule that allows you to dedicate time to both your career and your family. This could involve setting aside specific hours for work, and then dedicating the rest of your time to your children.
Another important aspect of finding balance is learning to prioritize. It's essential to identify what's most important to you in both your career and your family life, and then focus your energy on those priorities.
Ultimately, being a career-driven mom requires sacrifice and compromise, but it is possible to have a successful career while also being a loving and attentive parent. I want all moms to know that we are all in this together & we can do it!
